How Do You Know a Man is Cheating? Signs Of A Cheating Man
I am a reformed cheater. I may lose my Man Card for writing this, but I feel that I owe it women around the world to share my experience so that they can avoid the hurt I have caused so many. These signs of a cheating man may not be universally applicable but they are what I used.
It always surprised me when women got so shocked that I was a cheater, especially if that’s how I began my relationship with them. I would be with a woman for a while and as the relationship started to fizzle out, I’d simply move on to the next. I did this for many years with many different women, yet they were always surprised when it happened to them.
Change can come but just like quitting any behavior, it takes a desire to quit. This goes for smoking, drug or gambling addiction or cheating. The belief that the cheater isn’t going to cheat comes from a great line that the cheater lays out. Cheaters have considerable experience in laying out good lines to their partners.
During most of my relationships, I would not introduce my friends to that girl. When you are having a few drinks with friends it was far too easy for a friend to slip and say something about the blonde from last week. If you’ve been dating for a while, and haven’t met the friends or family you are either one among many or you’re the other woman.
One successful ploy that I utilized was to be Mr. Sensitive. You could pour your heart and soul out to me and I’d understand. This creates a false sense of trust in the relationship. If your night consists of talking followed by sexual relations or vice versa, you may be being played. Men’s intentions are usually sexual. If you don’t mind being someone who is played with that’s fine. If you find t his offensive, it’s time to find someone else who really cares for you.
Dating sites can also be something you need to keep a careful eye on. If you’re in a relationship with a guy and you catch him on one of these sites, he’s not looking for a friend. Instead, it’s a fool-proof way to meet women outside of the social circle you’re both in. That gives him less of a chance of being caught. If you’re on one of the sites, you should be careful about the men without pictures on their profiles. You get more hits when you have a picture, it makes you wonder why any guy wouldn’t.
There were times that I cheated on a woman that I considered “special”. When I was with her, I would provide all of the amenities that I could. Roses, a massage, I’d cook for her. I would do everything I could to show her just how special she was. Of course all of these things weren’t just to make her feel special. I wanted to absolve the guilt of cheating on her.
